Company History

The Nazha Cancer Center was started with a dream that hard work and dedication helped mold into a reality. Dr. Nazha's dream was to be able to provide comprehensive cancer care that would permit for quick diagnosis and prompt treatment planning to maximize the quality of patient outcomes. In 1989 with the help of his wife Ellie Nazha and mother-in-law Ellie Hunt, they opened a small practice in Linwood, NJ as a start to fulfilling this dream.

After several years at this location it became clear that they had outgrown their tiny office space. On January 20, 2001, Dr. Nazha moved his practice to our current Medical Oncology Division, located at 411 New Road in Northfield, NJ. Here, he was able to see and treat many more patients daily, but the vision had not yet been completed. While Dr. Nazha had created a wonderful oncology practice that helped thousands to heal, he was not able to see patients through their entire cancer journey, as this facility was not a comprehensive cancer center, lacking such services as radiation therapy and diagnostic radiology.

In 2006, plans to finalize the dream began to take shape and the design of a new facility that would include radiation therapy and medical imaging was created. In 2007, ground was broken once again, this time for the Nazha Cancer Center Radiation Oncology & Imaging Division, located at 801 New Road in Northfield, NJ. On July 29, 2008 we opened our doors to this new facility, which in conjunction to the Medical Oncology Division offers patients comprehensive cancer care.

In order to offer our services to more of Atlantic County's residents, Dr. Nazha decided to expand our Medical Oncology services by opening our Galloway Medical Oncology Division, which opened its doors in 2011. This facility offers all of the same services as our main Medical Oncology Division in Northfield, such as medical oncology, hematology, chemotherapy and medical infusion in a location that is more convenient to residents from that area.

The work of a visionary is never finished; Dr. Nazha doesn't plan to stop there. Watch us continue to grow and offer our patients and the community more options and better cancer care.
